  3. DOM-based XSS: The vulnerability exists in the client-side code rather than the server-side code. The malicious script is executed as a result of modifying the DOM environment in the victim's browser.

How can you prevent XSS?

Validate and sanitize user inputs

Always validate and sanitize user inputs to ensure they do not contain malicious code. Use libraries and frameworks that provide built-in functions for input validation and sanitization.

Use Content Security Policy (CSP)

Escape data before rendering
